Yes sir! I'm blogging from the great state of Texas after having flown into George W. Bush International Airport outside of Houston yesterday afternoon. Houston is a pretty interesting city; it's the fourth largest in the nation and from the air, it sprawls for miles in every direction! I'm really looking forward to learning about Houston's history this week.
So now, I'm heading off for day one of the 2013 Microsoft Worldwide Partner Conference to hear what's in store as Microsoft kicks off their new fiscal year. However, I wanted to continue discussing this month's subject of network audits. Again, stop shuddering! Geez!
A general network audit will ensure your organization's technology is performing properly and efficiently, uncover points of vulnerability, and satisfy compliance regulations. It's important to note that general network audits should be conducted on a regular basis to ensure the ongoing integrity of your network. Think of it as an annual checkup, similar to how you visit your doctor for an annual physical.
Really, there is nothing to fear when it comes to network audits, except for fear of the unknown, and honestly, wouldn't you rather identify an issue before it becomes a disaster?
See y'all next week!
